Dear Friends,
The past few months have been filled with so many reasons to celebrate, and I wanted to take a moment to share some of the joy with you.
On June 12th, my Wildflower Art Show opened in Palatka, and what an incredible evening it was! The reception welcomed 87 guests, making it one of the largest art show attendances in the area. The support, encouragement, conversations, and connections made the evening truly unforgettable. I was honored to sell artwork, meet new collectors, and share the stories behind this body of work.
Adding to the excitement, I was featured on the front page of the Palatka Daily News, a moment that felt both humbling and surreal. I am deeply grateful to everyone who attended, shared kind words, and helped make the event such a success. 'Wildflower' Blooms in Palatka - Palatka Daily News
One of the highlights of the evening was seeing Phil and Dee from The Bart on Aviles in St. Augustine make a special appearance. Their friendship and support of local artists mean so much, and it was wonderful to share this milestone with them.
The month was also filled with family celebrations. On June 11th, we celebrated my grandson Leo's first birthday. Watching him grow during this first year has been a beautiful reminder of how quickly time passes and how precious these moments are.
We also gathered to celebrate Puerto Rican Heritage Day on June 13th, honoring our culture, traditions, family, and the vibrant spirit that continues to inspire so much of my work.
Earlier this season, we celebrated Mother's Day, my husband's birthday, and the birthdays of my boys. These special occasions reminded me how fortunate I am to be surrounded by a loving family that continually supports my artistic journey.
Looking ahead, I am incredibly excited to be planning a trip to Italy this September with my daughter. Italy has long been a dream destination, and I cannot wait to experience its art, architecture, colors, and history firsthand. I already know the inspiration from this adventure will find its way into future paintings.
Back in the studio, I am currently working on several commissioned pieces, and I am having so much fun bringing these visions to life. There is something special about creating artwork that holds personal meaning for a collector. I can't wait to see how these paintings develop and, even more importantly, to witness the reactions when they are unveiled.
As always, thank you for following along on this creative journey. Whether you've attended a show, purchased a piece, shared my work, or simply offered encouragement, your support means more than you know.
Here's to a summer filled with color, creativity, family, and new adventures.
With gratitude,
