🎨 Mentoring the Next Generation
One of the most rewarding parts of my year has been mentoring Caleb, a talented young artist preparing his portfolio for Ringling College of Art and Design.
Over our time together, I've watched Caleb grow not only as an artist, but also in his confidence and his ability to make his own creative decisions. He has learned to look at his work with a more critical eye-not to tear it apart, but to ask, "What can I do to make this stronger?" Watching that transformation has been incredibly special.
Our sessions have been about much more than technique. We've talked about composition, storytelling, artistic choices, and finding the courage to trust your own voice. And honestly, I've learned from Caleb too. Every session reminded me that mentoring is a two-way experience.
I'm so proud of the work he has created and excited to see where his artistic journey takes him next.
Being able to encourage another artist is a gift, and I'm grateful I had the opportunity to be part of Caleb's journey. ❤️🎨
